   1. Approved meeting minutes from two meetings in June 2017

   2. Brad will start posting meeting minutes to website. Some modifications to minutes may be needed before posting to public.

2. NUMBERS

   1. We are down 306 players compared to last year

      1. Senior Boys & Kickers are biggest drop

   2. Suzie reached out to those individuals who did not sign up again

   3. May need to cut back on coaches & spring training

   4. Are we losing kids to club soccer?

   5. We want to run an ad in Hingham Journal, PTO newsletters & ask school principals to promote

      1. Junior Boys - There are currently 8 teams (11 per team for 6 v 6) and may increase to 10 teams if more enrollment

   1. We compared our schedule with other sports: LAX, field hockey, baseball

   2. In-Town plays on Saturdays. Season starts 9/16 and ends 11/11

4. FIELDS

   1. Carlson has four fields available

   2. Union Field Q will change from Fall to Spring to rest it

   3. Waiting for Galway to respond before we can determine layout of field

5. TEAM PRACTICES

   1. Team practice at 4:00 is just not feasible

   2. Junior & Senior Boys Mon & Wed Select

   3. Junior & Senior Girls Tue & Thursday Galway

6. UK ELITE

   1. We are officially done with UK Elite

   2. Their rates are higher & our enrollment is down

   3. We terminated relationship on good terms

7. TRYOUTS

   1. Happy & impressed with Select’s performance at tryouts

   2. They were thorough in their evaluation & kept same coaches every day

   3. There were few complaints from parents but that is normal

   4. For the future, we want to add a third night for “call backs”

8. 1. U14 Girls (D.Gilbert)

      1. Coach from Kingston moved to Hingham plans to coach. This is okay so long as he passes CORI

      2. Need head coach for Balance Team

   2. Suzie is working on CORIs

   3. Referees (D.MacKay)

      1. Registrations open this week

      2. Cap at 40

      3. Concerned about refs for travel games. Rob Thorne had to borrow refs from adjacent towns last year.

      4. Rockland training session already full

      5. Referee Meeting is set for 9/7 6:00-8:30

   4. U12 Girls (J.Theis)

      1. Jim Roche resigned; his daughter is out. Jim Hughes may be interested in taking his place as Division Director.

   5. Senior Girls (R.Murray)

      1. Made blended 3rd & 4th grade teams

      2. Make a note that we will reshuffle teams if one is too dominant

   6. Field Coordinator (G.Devine)

      1. He has to look at fields

      2. Grab more flags for Union Street fields

      3. Has question re: layout to determine how much paint to buy

      4. Order porta potty to be at Union Street prior to Labor Day (9/1)

      2. Kickers 1 has 9 teams; working through it
